Broken Mesas

AUTHOR: Joseph Delgado

Poems collected on the floor of sun baked valles, poems cut raw and jagged from mountain faces, poems built of stink, poems carved of spit and cardboard. Shards. Slivers of mesas long since sliced apart, long since crumbled under the weight of tractor blade, hoof, snout of men sniffing for gold.
